Texting

I do not have a cell phone so i have never text before and i don't think i am missing out on anything. I keep in touch with people by either talking to them face to face or on the phone. I personally like to talk to people face to face because i like to see who I'm talking to and see there expression. I don't think i would like texting that much because its even less personal than talking to someone on the phone. I mean I'd rather hear someone laugh than see an LOL or something like that. I love people and being around them and i feel like texting would just make me feel less connected to the people i care about if i was texting all the time instead of actually talking to them.
I do think that I may be somewhat handicapped by not having a cell phone because i don't know how to text and with the way things are going one day my boss may want me to now how. Plus i never seem to be able to figure out anybody else's cell phone either, well except for my preachers but i use it all the time.
I think having a Ban on cell phones during school hours is a good idea. Now i know what you are thinking she doesn't have a cell phone she doesn't know what she is talking about. But i do know that there are many people that still text during school and that it distracts them from there work. If there wasn't a Ban on cell phones more people would probably be texting more often and if new already have a problem with texting think about how much worse it would be if teachers couldn't stop it. Plus there would be no point in going to school for most people because they wouldn't be paying attention to the teacher but to their friends in stead.

It is a great thing that you don't have a cell phone because they really do ruin alot of the basics of communication.
