The little things

How many of the little things do you appreciate? I don't really do all that often just because i don't tend to notice the small things that often but when i do i make sure to go out of my way to let then know hey you did good there or that they get their recognition. My dad has always told me you should be grateful for the small things and appreciate it all cause one day you will not have it and you ll be on your own. i did not know what he meant really and i still don't all the way but i can grasp what he means. cause once i am alone i will not be able to do all the fun things i used to do anymore and ill be focusing on living and not as much fun as i would like. So i very rarely but i DO sometimes... try to take a look at all the small things that don't get all the appreciation that they should get.
