Cell Phones

My cell phone cost about $15 a month. I have the extra $5 for texting, but not for me texting people but so i can read the text messages people send me. I always told people i don't text but they would forget that and text me the next day. So i had to get the texting so i wouldn't be charged so much for just reading the texts i would recieve. Not only does this cost me 5 more dollars on my cell phone bill, but it has also affected my ability to talk to my friends outside of school. I used to talk all the time to my friends after school but since texting has gotten popular, they have limited minutes to talk but unlimited texting. I just don't like texting that much. It's hard to tell any emotions when you're texting, but a lot easier to hear from their tone of voice. I really don't know what will happen to society in the future, but hopefully, people will begin to communicate face to face or over the phone again. My speling andd writing have knot dacreased won bite since txting bcame populer, lol. I think the school policy is good, except for emergencies. You are not allowed to answer if it's an emergency, they have to call the school. I wonder how many parents have the school number on their phones, because i know mine don't and neither do any of the other parents i know. So emergencies are the only times I think the phone should allowed to be used, but please, step outside into the hall, and have the phone on vibrate.
