Oy, a bit late, but a blog nonetheless.

I hate Valentine's Day. Last year's was nice, until we broke up, then it became too painful to bear.

Valentine's Day should be a celebration of... Saint Valentine? I'm not sure what he did, but I know there was some sort of execution, and massacre on Valentine's Day, which is what we should be celebrating... I guess.

Xian put it quite nicely; "I like to think of it as Happy Singles Awareness Day." Which is all it is. It has a more profound effect on singles than on couples. And as if it isn't bad enough seeing couples in public doing cutesy things, or that weird couple that reproduce in front of your eyes everyday, no, that's not enough, there has to be a day devoted to rubbing it in your face.

Screw Valentine's Day. No pun intended.
