2. Spiders
I hate them they have to many legs. i mean come on 8 that's just ridiculous. They are scary and mean.
3. Wireless Internet
It's a pain. It's always disconnected. i mean i dont pay to have Internet half of the time and no Internet the other half of the time.
4. I hate my best friend telling me not to drink soda.
She's a butt because i live off of soda and she's always gripping about it. but i love Stacey because she is my Best Friend and she yells because she cares.
5. When people say lol in a actual conversation.
when your standing face to face to someone and they laugh and say lol its beyond obvious that they are laughing out loud because you can see and hear them laughing. It makes them sound completely retarded.
6. Full inboxs on cell phones.
Inboxs shouldn't get full it's annoying when i am texting and it beeps and says inbox full and u have to go back and erase text messages and then it takes four times the amount of time to receive the original text.
that's all i got i can't think

Things I Hate
The things i hate um well this is difficult subject for me because i really don't have many things i hate, or at least i try not to and i defiantly don't hate people. But i do have some things that i hate that people do.
and here are a few or at least the ones i can think of.
1) Sin
I hate sin all kinds, especially when I'm the one sinning. Its no fun and i always end up feeling bad in the end.
2) Boredom
I hate feeling like I'm bored its no fun and its usually because I'm alone. I am a huge people person and when I'm alone i can get pretty bored and some times there's no one around to hang out with.
3)Pessimistic Attitudes
I hate it when people act like there is nothing good in the world. I believe that life is a gift and should be enjoyed. When people tell me that this isn't true and that God put us here to make us suffer and serve him it makes me mad.I think that God did put us here to serve him but i don't think that we need or should suffer all the time. I know that life is not always fun but we should have fun when ever we can because life is short and should be enjoyed.
4) Cancer
I hate cancer because my mom has cancer and one of my grandparents died from cancer. it is also a slow painful disease and is very unpredictable. you never know if it is really gone or if it will be back.
5) Fleas, Mosquitoes, and Lise
I do not see the purpose in these creatures except to make people and animals miserable and sick. Plus i have had head Lise and it was miserable. It even takes the fun out of missing school. Flees are just as bad because my brother's dog makes sours all over her self when ever she gets flees. As for mosquitoes they make you all itchy and sometimes they can carry horrible diseases.
6) The Word Hate
I know i have been using the word hate but i think it is way over used and should not be used unless you really mean it. I really hate when people say i hate you to one of there friends because it is something that should not be joked about and is defiantly not funny. Its like telling someone that you wish that they never existed except for in the fiery depths of hell. Now is that really something you want to tell you friends. Sense i think the word hate is so over used i have only said the things i really hate not the things i really just dislike.

Ten things I absolutley Can't stand.....
#1) I hate the cold weather, I hate rain, I hate snow unless Im snowboarding, I hate Clouds and I hate it when My hands are cold, I love it when its sunny and Im getting a tan.
#2)I hate relationships, Well I like them but I hate them at the same time. They should be simple, two people working together, not argueing and understanding eachothers needs and wants and always being able to rely on that certain person...And being understanding for them and always help them out when they are in need. A relationship were you trust and give your all to someone. WITHOUT THEM BEING SO CONFUSING. If you suck at relationships, dont get into one with an honest good person cause your just going to hurt them or screw them over.
#3)I hate ex girlfriends of boys too. Get over the guy, Leave them alone. And dont try to get with him and flirt with him when they have a boyfriend.
#4)I hate hate hate hate hate being sick more than life. The only good thing to come of it...Is missing school.
#5) I hate NEEDLES.
#6) I hate feeling like Im not independent, and I KNOW i am AND CAN be.
#7) I hate people who talk tons of tons of tons of crap behind your back and then when you confront them there little chickens.
#8) I hate it when you get a bad hair cutt, and your all mad about it for weeks cause you think it looks so bad.
#9) I hate it when you see people walking with gross straggly greasy nasty hair, it puts me in a bad mood. Its not that hard to wash it, seriously take a shower...SERIOUSLY the bums figure something out cause they dont even look as bad as the people who have houses and dont take care of themselves.
#10) I hate cops, they piss me off also. There dumb there not understanding And I pretty much know they got it set out for certain people. They have like bad girl and bad boy lists and they stick too them. They memorize faces and there mean to my friends. Oh and there mean and wont listen even if your not doing anything wrong. And sometimes they pull you over with NO reason!
Anyways, Those are things I hate. :)

10 Things that I hate
Blog 4: Hopefully coming up with ten things that I hate
- First of all I really hate the family on my mothers side. I mean all of them, except for my mother. I hate them because they are all stupid. There choices have all been unethical or immoral. They don't help one another, and they mooch off my mother.
- Secondly I hate when people lie. Well I mean I don't care if they lie a little, but if they lie excessively then that is when I start to hate you and think you should just go off yourself. Though I really don't want that I just don't want you near me.
- Third and final thing I can think of is I hate when people talk bullsnit, and expect people to praise them when all they are is talk. I'll admit I have accused people of not doing what they say and have proved me wrong, but I have also found out that there are a lot of shovanistic pigs out there who only think of making themselves look better without actually doing what they say.
Sincerely,
David Dunlap
A Few Things I hate
One of the things I hate the most would probably have to be liars and being lied to.
The forcing of religion and religous beliefs is also another thing that drives me crazy. Trying to force your own opinion on someone else who has different beliefs is just rude and disrespectful. We should all respect others opinions even if its something we dont agree with.
Math. I dont care for school in general but in my personal opinion math is the worst.
Racism is something that really bothers me. I cant stand discrimination based on color.

5. Not to single people out, so if you don't want to be singled out then don't read this, but I hate it when band supremacists try to justify why band should be a sport, okay then we'll take your class time away, deal?
4. I hate hypochondriacs, a pill cannot fix the weight problem you have, you'll just have to run or work out like the rest of society.

2. People who can recite just the chorus to a song and sing it over and over and over, for example YMCA, and I Touch Myself.

Hatred.
#1 Paris Hilton. Or stupid people in general. She is just the spokesperson. Don't speak if you do not know what you will say.
#2 People who come to the drive thru and do not know what they want. If I have to listen to one more person say "ummmmmmmmmm" one more time I am going to kill a child. Come on.
#3 The game. I hate it when people talk about the game. It does not exist so stop.
#4 Large groups of people who talk smack about every person that walks by. If you don't act like that when you are alone then shut up.
#5 When I can't win at a video game. When games are too hard or I am having a bad day, ooh man I tend to yell profane words very loudly.
#6 People who recite Shakespeare in public places. Come on man save that crap for your own domain.
#7 Jehovah's Witness. Just invite them in and they won't know what to do. I hate them.
#8 When middle schooler's have cell phones. They don't even use them, they just text people. And I also hate it when children are disrespectful. Spank your children.

10 things I hate the most
Their's many things I hate an it's hard to think of them all as I type now.
1.) Chuck Norris, it was funny for a while but they got old really fast....
2.) Annoying childerin' does it matter their age? not really. For some reason this 7 year old was hanging out with me an I never really thought they were THAT much of WHY wagons, but he NEVER stopped asking me questions about things, STUPID UN-IMPORTANT THINGS! Why? Just thinking about it annoys me, never ending torment of why.....
3.) Dumb movies that actually are like....negative goodness, like they make you feel negative feelings (Can't summarize it) the whole time you're watching them cause they're SO bad.... like narnia two, I litterally dreded that whole movie in the theaters, it was so corny an bad. Oh rofl and omg, spirit had to have been the worst movie ever. Like some of their jokes were ok but they were trying to hard to make the jokes funny, making them kind of dumb.....bad. I went to the movie theatre an saw it with my two sisters an my older sisters friend, Mark. After about 25 minutes of the movie I just turned to mark an asked him in a tottal serious voice "....Why are wbe watching this movie....?" an him an I busted out laughing because it was so dumb an terrible in our opinions. I turned to my little sister an asked her to an she immediatley started cracking up laughing an we were laughing for a good 20 mins trying to be quiet, some guy ended up going to tell the movie theatre people an he came in with a red wand thing (Luckily we had stopped for a little while) an when the guy came back, he was SO lame. He gave his friend a high five who was across the aisle. Also during the movie in the middle of a serious like, love scene type thing someone let out a loud fart an we started cracking up laughing again an everyone else was silet, it was SO cash.
Their's so many things that I could type about that I hate but I can't think off the top of my head, I suppose cause i'm sick right now an feel like tottal crap an find it hard to think of things I hate.

I hate lots! Lots o' lots o' hate! :D
1. I hate... girls. Yes, girls. Almost all things about them. Their smell, their voice, their interests, stupid girl crap that most flont like pink things, and, mother of pearl, glitter. Their opinions, their emotions, the way they handle things. Sweet Sassy Molassy, I hate girls. But yes, there is the obvious exception of a select few that I enjoy such as Daphne Erickson, Kelsi Matthews, or Mandy Gates. They are amazing because they've discovered unfiltered humor and the use of logic. Whew! I feel better now. Any-who...
2. Freshmen; need I say more?
3. Disrespect. Eff that ess. I'm sick of it.
4. Abuse of authority. *Cough cough* Meeuwson *cough cough*. Eh hrm, yes, it's painfully unfair. Especially when they are condescending and corner you only to (I hate rape jokes) argumentatively rape you against your will and make you feel belittled and helpless. Pigs. I wonder if their pillows feel like graves...
ANYWAY!
5. Neighbors. Leave me and so I shall leave thee!
6. ...My mother. I know! I know! It sounds bad but I don't hate my mom for the normal reasons teenagers hate their mothers. I hate her for logical reasons. She has not been... the greatest... mother she could have been.
7. Weakness. Social Darwinism for all! :B
8. Weirdos who want to be worshipped. The weird people that dress funny and recite poetry to drums, yeah, they're weird, that's how I feel. I am not, however, going to ridicule them nor preach to them; if that's what floats their boat, then float on! Or... drum... on? It's when they are angered that I have not made some sort of revelation that their way is the right way, that I SHOULD be a tattered, grubby-looking starving artist, with wild illogical ideas about the universe, government, and religion. I have my own ways! You have ours! I accept it! Sheesh.
9. When gays (sorry if that offends) think that everyone should be gay. It's just as bad as a heterosexual saying that they wished everyone was straight. Like one of Christian's friends, who is a flaming homosexual, told Christian's younger sister Amberly (12) that he would love her SO much if she was a lesbian. What's wrong with the way she is now?
10. Of course, advertisement. It's brainwash. T.v.? It's self-inflicted zombieism. I feel like they (television stations, producers, and ads) are finding VEEEEERY subtle and discreet ways to control our thought processes. Ever notice how your inner monologue shuts off when you watch it? You're letting it think FOR you. And it's like what Ron's dad said, from Harry Potter, never trust anything that thinks and has a hidden brain.
Oh my goodness, I really want a tuna sandwich all of a sudden.
Anyway, having someone or something else think for you should be a red flag that maybe... this isn't good...? That's why I like to take me-time and do something where I don't talk to anyone else for about a day, that's how long it takes me, and read or write or draw. It gets you back into what I like to call, "your own language", because we are all influenced by the speaking styles of those around us but if you cut that off, you return to a more natural and comfortable state that's incredibly authentic to your personality.
Whew! That was quite the ramble, eh?
One more thing I hate, and I GOTTA say this, is gangsters. Mother effing hate them. Hatey hate hate haties, hater! I loathe them! I feel that Jon Lajoie interpreted very well WHY gangsters are such 'tard-'eads in his video Show Me Your Genitals, and the sequel, E=mc Vagina. I have a personal story about why I hate gangsters, but this blog is WAY too long as is. It's on my blogs on my myspace, though. If you're that interested, which I doubt. (By the way, the end of that sentence was an Eeyore quote from the original Winnie The Pooh.)
So, yes. I'm going to make that sandwich now.

I hate, you hate, we all hate
1. MY BROTHERS
When i say this, i don't mean i really hate them, i do love them. It's the constant fighting everyday they have between eachother and the disrespect they will have towards me sometimes. It gets very annoying but i try to be patient with them.
2. PEOPLE WHO LIKE ALL GENRES OF MUSIC, EXCEPT........
I don't enjoy when I ask or someone asks someone what type of music they like, and they will say they like everything except metal, or country, or techno, or whatever. I myself say I like all genres of music. But that is because I will literally listen to anything you give me. Sure there may be something i like over another, but i still will like it none the less.
3. CENSORSHIP ON TV/Radio
I know it's there to protect the younger genrations "innocent" ears, eyes, and whatever else senses. But I hate trying to watch some movie on tv, then they skip my favorite scene in the movie just because they have part where you see a girls breast for a second or two. Or, if i'm trying to watch a comedian, and all I here is a bliping sound, I start getting irritated. And of course, listening to a song on the radio and you think that their cd or mp3 skipped but then realize it's being censored.
4. BILLY MAYS
I don't care how loud you're yelling at me, i'm not going to buy your products. If you tone it down a bit, i might consider it ok?
5. BAD RACISM
I like to have racist jokes or little stereotypes that of course isn't true. But i hate people who want to differ themselves from different races. KKK being an example. I want to be in a place where we all get along, with little jokes that everyone laughs at because they have a joke about a different race. Also, i don't like the fact that i can't find any white people jokes.
6. TEXTING
I don't like texting a lot. I will respond to a message maybe once in a while if i feel like it. I just don't like those who use texting as their main source of communication. I believe either face to face, or using what the phone was invented for. Talk to person, using your real voice, and hearing their real voice. You can either have a 5 minute conversation with someone, or you can strech it out to 30 minutes using texting.
7. MOST SEAFOOD
This is just a personal thing. I just do not enjoy much seafood. The only thing i can think of that I like is seaweed and kalimari.
8. CHUCK NORRIS JOKES
I have nothing against Chuck Norris himself. I just don't understand what makes him so special. Many people talk about how powerful he is, like he is something out of a legend. I think he is a nice guy and a great actor, but some of the jokes are ridiculous. Besides, Bruce Lee beat his behind.
9. DRUGS/ALCOHOL
Not really one of my biggest concerns. I really have no desire to try any drugs or alcohol. For medical purposes is ok, but to get high is ridiculous. I don't mind people who do these things. In fact, a lot of my friends do this. But I do get tired of those who do think i do drugs or have done them. I mean seriously, if i did, i would just be a ridiculous being of nature.
10. USELESS TALENTS
I will admit I have useless "talents" as well as everyone else. Eating a dozen donuts won't get me anywhere in life except maybe the emegency room. But things like twirling a pencil through your fingers, flipping a coin through your fingers, or biting and ripping an aluminum can. (sorry Humphrey)
11. PEOPLE WHO DON'T RESPECT OTHERS
If someone believes a certain religion, you don't have to agree, but at least respect their belief. Or in my situation, someone thinks System of a Down sucks, although I highly disagree with that opinion, i will still respect their thought. I hate it when people will just do everything that will be against someone else's belief just to piss them off. Or if they disrespect their parents by yelling or hurting their feelings. In fact, they shouldn't do that anyone at all.

What i hate and Why?
I hate my sister when she wont get off the computer when she is told to. Because she always calls it right when she gets in the car and by that time im not in the car so she gets the computer and then i have to wait tell she gets off or until she is told to get off.

Things i hate...
1. Frogs!
I hate them! I am scared to death of them and they are just ugly slimy little things that hop around and eat bugs! They are just nasty...
2. Oregon weather.
It can be sunny one day and then be freaking snowing the next like really what the...? And when it rains it doesn't really rain it just has this stupid light rain [if it is going to rain it should rain hard!] And i just don't like that cold weather. I'm from El Paso Texas it is all desert and hot. So much better than here....
3. Little dogs...
They are just ughh. Most of them are ugly and just look like rats. [I think.] I like big dogs, I'll stick to Dobermans. =]
4. "Are you Ashley Hamlin's little sister?"
Well hmm.. We are the only Hamlin's in Oregon so i would think so... And if you think i am don't shout across the room "Aren't you Ashley's little sister dude she is a party animal!" Yes i am her little sister and i think i already know that... If you know her and see me you don't have to freak out like it is amazing or something. And i am NOT her. I love her but i am not her i am my own person i have my own friends and i don't my own things. But i think that the whole school knows me cuz i'm Ashley Hamlin's little sister. I don't get it...
5. The dark...
Ya ya ya... Ok ya i don't like the dark actually i hate it.. Well i guess it's not really the dark it's whats in the dark that i don't like... You can never really see if there is something there or not in the dark, it is just no good.....
6. Reading....
Ya i don't like reading at all. It's not that i wouldn't like to be able to sit and read a good book every once and a while. It's just i can't actually concentrate for that long i get lost and tired. And i just like like it... I feel it is just not a good way to spend my time... Reading is just not for me.
7. War..
I'm all about love and peace and no war. War is just stupid i think. I don't like the fact that we are killing so many people that have never done anything. I don't think it is right at all. I don't think that just cuz one person from another country did something to us we have to go killing them. Why don't we just leave the people who didn't do it alone and just find that person that did something to us? Is would be so much better i think....
8. Stereotypes for people.
Just cuz you have a different label as someone else doesn't mean your any better or worse than them. Like the "preps" aren't any better than the "stoners." Everyone is different and has their own way of doing things that doesn't make them weird and or someone less as important as you. And just cuz you have a label doesn't make you that kind of person. According to a lot of people i am a "stoner" because some of my friends smoke or because of somethings my sister has done. And to my friends i am kind of "hippy" now just because i would like there to be peace and i'm all about "hug a tree" save the environment and that i don't think doing things that grows out of the earth is wrong... But because of that i am now a hippy? Ok...?

Do you really want to know what I hate?
1) Being called a "Yankee"
I ain't not gods danged Yankee! I was born in Dallas freakin' Texas People! That was a CONFEDERATE STATE! I hate being called what I ain't.
2) The cold and rain.
It makes people grouchy and mean, they act like it's the end of the world or that there's noting left but freezing cold and rain.
3) Going to parties with a bunch of people that I can't stand to be around.
I'm not a people person. I'd rather sit in my room, by myself and read a book, write a story, or a poem. People cause too much trouble and I abhor being anywhere near them.
4) Being compared to or told I look like my father.
That's all I ever here "You like so much like your father" or "Oh you're just like your dad" I am not! I'm my own person! I'm a girl who is nothing like her father, mother, brother or other wise. I am not anyone but myself.
5) People thinking that I'm Marcus's sister.
This could not be farther from the truth. Marcus is my COUSIN! Spell it with me C-O-U-S-I-N! Nothing more. We don't look a like and we are NOT going to ever be anything more. Sorry people but I don't want to be anything more.
6) Short dogs.
Those aren't dogs, they're footballs and dust mops. A dog doesn't bounce when it barks, and you can not, repeat can not drop kick it over your back fence or out a door/window. A real dog could eat a rat not run from them and a real dog is able to kill things bigger than cats. Enough said.
Finally
7) FRESHMAN!
They are the most immature, ugly, smelly, stupid, rude people to walk the planet. I know I was one and I thought the same things then. I have walked through the halls and had freshman gag at me like I'm some kind of slime on their shoes. It's embarrassing. They think they're all that and a bag of money but they're just as low as you or me. They need to shut up and do their job: Graduate high school!

Hate
Mr. Humphrey seems to have at least one hate in common with me. as id have to say my number one is Stupidity. for example, when people complain about failing all there classes, then go home and play wow for 10 hours instead of doin there home work. or those people who cant spell, and never capitalize anything.... -_- cause im cool like that.
Number 2 has to be Dishonesty. i hate it when people go back on there word, and not because something happened just because they change there mind or somethin. or like i've had times where i've made a covenant and people break it. that bugs me, cause like...seriously, thats not cool.
number 3 is Apple. there stupid, Linux kernel with Unix software, and the hardware's all funky and works with nothing. either way, Linux is the best, im stuck with windows cause thats where the games r. and anyone who reads this, if ur not gaming on ur pc, download a linux live cd and try it out. =]
number 4 has to be, Ron Hubbard. im sorry if theres any Scientologists reading this, i dont mean 2 offend anyone. but just with the things he's done to people, and all just for money. im not gunna go into it anymore, but anyone can ask me about this. also, probably should b higher but i just thought of it as i was writin.
number 5 is arguing with closed minded people, or really anyone who wont take no for an awnser and only have one arguement for everything. like abortion is bad, personally im agenst it, think theres nothin that justifys it. but i hear people argue agenst it, and all they say is "but its murder bawwww". and im like no theres many more things you could pull up! i hate you! (thats why its on here)
number 6 is Sony and there "ps triple". lets put chad warden in there for fun 2. but anyway, sony steels everything! even the ps1, a decent system, uses a stolen format, and analog stick (at that time it was under a patent still). so basicly i hate them for there moral stuff. but i also hate windows because like 90% of it is stolen, and both windows and apple because everythin new in those is stoles from linux.
number 7 the internet filter at the school. its stupid, im not gunna sit in class and look at porn, but if i want 2 waste me time doing what i want to, and fail my classes, that should be my choice. the one good thing is that it gives me a challenge 2 find new ways around it, gettin easy though...those it guys are slackin.
number 8 commercial software. for every piece commercial software theres a freeware version, why pay for norten when i can get avg for free, or pay for photoshop when i can get gimp. and office is the worst, people serously pay $150 for that!! its so stupid -_- makes me want to punch babies.
number 9 freshmen. you really cant get much worse then a frosh. some are good, but the masses ruin it for them. over all there just bad.
and number 10 is bloggers, they just sit there and talk about random crap, whats the point? they need to go die in a fire.
ps i hate this blog topic, took days to think of 10 things i hated, and out of those some are jokes. cant stand thinkin "what do i hate?" but its over now
Valentines day
I really dont care for valentines day. Nothing ever good happends on valentines day. Every year on valentines day i end up getting dumped if im dating some one.
Valentines Day and Family
Valentines Day to me has usually been more about family than about a boyfriend because most of my life i didn't have one because my dad had a rule that i couldn't date until i was sixteen. Take this year for example we haven't even celebrated Valentines Day because we haven't all been together yet. You see this year my mom had to go to Tulsa Oklahoma for cancer treatments and did not get home in time for Valentines Day.So we'll probably celebrate it some time this week. Usually we give each other valentines gifts and maybe my parents will go out for dinner. But they don't always because there anniversary is only a couple weeks after Valentines Day. For the last two years i did have a boyfriend and we did exchange gifts but that was about it. we didn't really have much of a relationship anyway. I usually don't like Valentines Day that much because I never did get very many Valentines Day cards or perecents from my friends as a kid except in first and second grade when everyone got a card and when i got older it was kind sad to see all the other kids my age giving there sweet hearts, candies and other goodies and getting cards from thier friends and i only got stuff from my parents. My friends never gave any cards to anyone usually. well except Jess. I'm over all that now. I feel like family is important and if i do happen to have a boyfriend next year than we can do something romantic then.

Oy, a bit late, but a blog nonetheless.
I hate Valentine's Day. Last year's was nice, until we broke up, then it became too painful to bear.
Valentine's Day should be a celebration of... Saint Valentine? I'm not sure what he did, but I know there was some sort of execution, and massacre on Valentine's Day, which is what we should be celebrating... I guess.
Xian put it quite nicely; "I like to think of it as Happy Singles Awareness Day." Which is all it is. It has a more profound effect on singles than on couples. And as if it isn't bad enough seeing couples in public doing cutesy things, or that weird couple that reproduce in front of your eyes everyday, no, that's not enough, there has to be a day devoted to rubbing it in your face.
Screw Valentine's Day. No pun intended.

Topic #4: 2/21-2/28
HEY!! It looks to me like we've had a little slack appear in the chain of blogs. Keep up, folks -- we will not be going to the lab every week, especially not as the state testing season heats up. Checking this blog every week, writing on each new topic, AND commenting on the prior week's topic, is your responsibility. Don't forget!
If you have neglected to post on a topic, go ahead and post now; it will be late, but late work is ALWAYS better than no work. As for comments, you need to make two comments for each week, not just a total number of comments, so you should have commented on two blogs on regret, and two blogs on heroes; this week, after writing on the new topic, you will comment on two Valentine's blogs.
Since last week's topic was all peace and light and happiness, I think this week, we should get down in the mud and grime. So I bring you:
TEN THINGS I HATE
Yes, that's right. I may look like a hippie, but I am full of rage and hatred and malice, and now it's time to let some of it pour out. Hey, that's what blogging is all about: venting your frustrations for all to see.
So here we go.
1. Stupidity
Specifically, I hate people who are intentionally and proudly ignorant, who refuse to learn the truth when it is obvious, when it is all around them. People who think it's okay to drive 80 mph down a residential street, for instance. Or people who get 6 DUIs and keep on driving drunk, thinking they can handle it. Or people who keep eating food that gives them heartburn, or an allergic reaction, or makes them fat when they don't want to be.
2. Artificiality
I hate celebrities. I don't mind successful people, in fact I admire them, but when they take that success and turn it into glamor and act like idiots, I hate that. I hate even more that our society is fascinated with them, and with lies like nationalism, or the open-mindedness of our society -- a society which bans gay marriage and wants to build a wall along the border and plant landmines.
3. Hatred
(Yes, I see the irony.)
Our society has banned gay marriage and wants to build a wall along the border and plant landmines. Weren't you listening? I honestly don't know why people can't get along, or at least leave each other alone: it really isn't hard for me to live and let live, and it doesn't seem to be hard for many, many people I know. And yet . . .
4. The death of reading
Books are a miracle to me. There is really nothing better, not as a source of information, or entertainment, as a means to learn and grow and become a better and happier person. They are cheap, plentiful, long-lasting, infinitely varied and deserving of multiple repetitions. So it breaks my heart that people hate reading and hate books, and would rather spend all of their time online, and playing video games, and hanging out with friends, and working, and so on. Hey, I do all those things too (except for the friends part), but I also read.
5. Television
Video didn't just kill the radio star, it killed books too. And there's so much crap to swim through to find the few nuggets of gold. It's like bobbing for apples in a septic tank -- even if you manage to get a good one, you really don't want to eat it, because it's covered in . . . commercials.
6. Twinkies
I've had a pair of twinkies in a jar in my classroom for three and a half years now. They aren't moldy. 'Nuff said.
7. Sports
Hate 'em all, though I think games are fun and excellent and good for you, and that can include friendly games of baseball and football and hockey and so forth. But when those things turn into actual competition? Hate 'em. And America's obsession with them, which has contributed to the demise of books, and of education, and of conversation about things that matter, because everybody's busy talking about The Big Game.
8. Capitalism
I don't dislike the free market system, but I hate the rule of the almighty dollar, that profit is all that matters. People have killed millions, destroyed the environment, turned all of our goods and services into crap -- all for the sake of profit.
9. Wal-Mart
Prime example of #8, and probably the worst offender in the world today, which is why it's so successful. And I hate that we live in a town where Wal-Mart is sometimes the best option for buying certain things.
10. Food that looks good, but isn't
I love food, and so the worst thing in the world to me is when I'm hungry, and I take out my delicious looking apple, and bite into it -- and it's moldy on the inside. Or I order something in a restaurant that sounds fantastic, and I get a plate of fishsticks and cold canned peas. Or I take something at a potluck that looks delicious, and it tastes like fried snot.
That's what I hate. What do you hate? Make a list -- it doesn't have to be ten things -- and explain why you hate those things.
1. Stupidity

Valentines day
Valentines day, I'm not pro Valentines day but i'm not really against it either. For me Valentines day is just a day for little kids to have fun an give eachother little peices of paper they bought with candy attached an to have fun. Mayby when I get older it will have some meaning or I will be swayed one way or the other, but for now it remains just another day for me. (By the way, Caleb Kimberly and I are posting, commenting, eating pizza, and drinking mountain dew at Steven Cox's house, it's quite the hoot, this post mut be cut short due to a movie we're about to watch so.....KTHNXBAI LOLOLOLOL followed by some LAWLAWLAWLAWLAWLAWL.)
v-day stuff
so, pretty much, i dont care one way or another about valentines day. NOW TIA IS TELLING ME I SHOULD USE CAPS AT THE BEGINNING OF STUFF. So i did that.
but anyway. i dont care either way about valentines day. its lame. You can be romantic, or whatever it is you wanna do, on any day of the year. the only difference is the whole naked men hitting people with goat skins, and Hallmark going crazy.
VD
I think Valentines day is pretty good especially for those that are too shy to ask people out. if they are shy, they are able to do it on this day without fear, because everyone else is doing it, so it gives them confidence, saying to themselves, "If everyone else can do it, i can do it too" My valentines day was pretty good. I was just able to hang out with my girlfriend all day. made her dinner, dessert, and watched underworld while doing so. Pretty good day i say.

Valentine's Day.
Please excuse the tardiness of this blog, I have been sick with the flu and blogging did not come to mind at the time. Anyhow... Valentine's Day, the most pointless holiday of them all. Who needs chocolates and flowers just to reassure that their partner truly does care for them? I believe this is just another money making frivolous day. I personally do not celebrate but if you do more power to you. As I said before, I was home, sick with the flu and therefore it just passed as another day. So yeah, Valentine's Day can burn.

Ugh...Valentines
Blog 03: How was my Valentines?
Well...My valentines day and the valentines weekend was pretty horrible. Execpt I got to spend time with my girlfriend. I was happy that I got to spend time with my girlfriend, but I was sick the whole time. Other then that valentines day is rather pointless. I mean you should show your love for the one you love everyday. If you have to pick the holidays in the year to show him/her your affection I wonder how your relationship is doing. I mean one of these times you should go out and surprise them. Other then that good luck and hope your lives go well.
Sincerely,
David Dunlap

Valentines Day
Well for my Valentines day, I stayed at home and babysat my little brother and sister while having the common cold, so kudos to me!!!!! It was pretty uneventful and nothing interesting happened besides Matt calling me asking if I wanted to go over and play some LAN party. For as much as I wanted to, I couldn't leave my brother and sister at home. I think you can believe Valentines day can be super romantic or just any other day. It is all to your digression. Believe what you want to believe.
Sincerely,
Nik Jennings

V day trouble.
I wouldn't really know which one would be more important. I'd think it was the anniversary but I'm not sure. I haven't celebrated anything like that so I wouldn't know. I didn't even celebrate valentines day. It's a crappy holiday considering my parents got married on that day and I can't stand the lovey dovey crap that goes on in my house. I'd rather just stay at a friend's house and ignore it all.
Sorry to all the lovers out there but that's my opinion and I'm sticking to it.

Happy Heart's Day <3
I like Valentine's day but my family kinda doesn't celebrate it cause my stepsister's birthday is on Valentine's day so we usually celebrate her b day instead.
I spent my valentine's day with Stacey Maxinne Hamlin =] she's gonna be mad i full named her but whatever. She is my BFF and we took some crazy photos in the morning after we got ready then we sped to scappoose to see Confessions of a shopaholic. The whole time i heard comments of how I'm a shopaholic because I like love shoes and clothes and all that good nonsense, Then i attacked Stacey with the good movie popcorn you know the really buttery greasy kind well i wasn't expecting her rebutal but she got me back and we were still getting popcorn out of our shirts three hours later. The movie was good. if you were wanting to see it. Then we went to my aunt's where we ate really gross cake and sang to my overly embarassed mother happy birthday. (F.y.i. her b day was the 12 not Valentine's day that's Bree's b-day) Then the best part of my day came when my dad gave me my flight times for my spring break trip to see him. I go on the 21st which is also the release date of the DVD twilight so airports better carry it cause I'm excited.
Peace. Samm

Valentine's Day.....
I personally love Valentine's Day.... A lot of people don't but i don't see why.. It's a day to celebrate the people you love... Even if you don't have a valentine you can still celebrate your family and friends.
Well hmmm. My Valentine's Day was spent with Samantha Moe and her family.. We went to see Confessions of a Shopaholic.. (Really funny movie! Or maybe it was the popcorn fight....) Anyways.... Uhh after that we went to her mom's surprise party at her aunts house. It was interesting... And then while we were there her uncle didn't believe that there were gays before the 80's..... We argued about it for a good 20 min. at the least.... I mean it was fun but i would have loved to spend it with Cory. =]

Heroes.
My hero would be my cousin Tyler. He has been though so much and he's still happy with himself. He has screwed up a lot but he doesn't regret it and He lives life to the fullest without regarding the judgment from our overbearing family members. Something heroic he has done is that he is a firefighter in La Grande Oregon and he has been involved with firefighting for the last two years. He has saved lives, houses, forest and fuzzy critters as he calls them. He was ranked third in his division and I am very proud to call him my cousin.
Another hero for me would be my mom. She is completely amazing to me and all of my friends, She hasn't saved me or anything but she doesn't have to to be my hero. She is always there for me and has supported me and my cousin Nichole though difficult times and i love her more and more each day.
Heroes come in every shape and size. Heroes also are heroes for very unique reasons and I'm glad i have two great heroes to look up to.
P.S. Sorry this was posted late Mr. Humphrey! =]

New Topic for the week of 2/15-2/21
Well, here we are just past Valentine's Day. So let's talk about that, shall we?
Here's what I think of Valentine's Day, from a blog I wrote about New Year's Day and its resolutions.
And also, here's a couple of links to articles about Valentine's Day.
Boycott Valentine's Day!
NB: No inappropriate links, please.
If you have no strong feelings about Valentine's Day, one way or the other, then write about love in general. Don't forget to comment on last week's Hero blogs, if you haven't done so. And Happy Blogging!
Here's what I think of Valentine's Day, from a blog I wrote about New Year's Day and its resolutions.
The day that you choose, for yourself, is always more meaningful than the one that is chosen for you. Want proof? Think of the difference between Valentine's Day, the artificially chosen Day To Prove Your Love (also known as Hallmark Day, also known as Day the Catholic Church Wanted to Take Away From Pagans Who Had Yet Another Fertility Festival That Week [cf. Roman feast of Lupercal], also known as Day To Be Jealous Of All the Kids With More Cards In Their Construction Paper Letter Box Than You, Those Jerkfaces) and your anniversary. Which day seems more precious? Which has more thought behind it, the heart-shaped box of chocolates or the anniversary gift? When do you feel a greater difference in your world view, on February 15 -- or the day after your wedding night?
. . . And by the way: if you picked February 14 as your wedding day, you need to get a life.

Hero.
Hmmm... I'm not sure if i really have a hero but the person i look up to the most would probably have to be my sister.. My sister has done somethings that she isn't proud of like most people but she doesn't let it bother her. She just takes it as if it was just a learning experience. She doesn't regret anything and she does what she wants to do. She doesn't let other people tell her what to do. She follows her heart and she is totally happy with her life. She can be out traveling the U.S. with no money no car and no where to stay but she loves it. She doesn't have to have fancy things or money to make her happy. All she need is to be with the people she cares about. She has made me see the things that are actually important in live. You have to be able to live your life and love the life you live...

hero
I have meet a lot of people in my life so far, but i can't honestly say i have a hero. That's kind-of a sad thought but it is true. So many people to look up to for several different things they have done or do. The biggest thing that comes to my mind would have to be my grandfathers, who were in WWII and my grandmothers, who waited back home in the U.S. with the children. Those four people are some of the greatest heroes i can think of. Yes there are people who helped the world, but my grandparents helped people closer to them. Every time i look at my grandparents, the ones that are still alive, i can see it in them, the pain they have been through. It makes me appreciate them SO much more. They are wonderful people and great heroes.
I'm not a hero, if i was in a comic book, i would probably be the villain. hahaha. Nothing comes to mind of any great, heroic, thing i have done. I'm the little sister, so I am always saved, but nothing worthy to speak of.

My Hero
My hero would probably have to be my parents. My parents have always been there for me no matter what. They are the ones who gave me the life that i now have today and with out them I would not be here. No matter how mad or frustrated my parents may make me i will always have respect for them... especially because all of the things that ive put them trough in the seventeen years that ive been alive.
One heroic thing that i have done in my life would be not causing problems
One heroic thing that i have done in my life would be not causing problems
hero
My hero's are my parents. I don't know what i would do without them. They have always been there for me, from potty training to helping me to were i am today.
i haven't done anything really heroic but i fed a wild racoon, that came to my door the other night and that was pretty cool.

Hero
Someone in my life that i consider a hero is my cousin Jeaneen. We are alot alike and i look up to her alot even though she hasnt made the best choises in life i still see her as a hero.
Something heroic i have done would probably be take care of my niece and brother when there is no one to watch them and my mom or cousin need to go out and do something or just need some time to them selfs or whatever. Its not a very big deal but i guess its a big help to them.

heros
my hero would have to be my cousins. there always looking out for me, making sure i do good. i would have to say they look out for me more than my dad does.
a heroic act that i've done would choosing to do the right things and not the wrong things.
a heroic act that i've done would choosing to do the right things and not the wrong things.
my hero
my hero is my great grandpa.... he died 3 years ago and it has been very hard because i was close to him. my grandpa fought in the Vietnam war and earned a purple heart when he was injured due to shrapnel from a bomb hitting his leg and making it hard for him to walk for many years. he also fought off cancer 3 times before it took his life. he was a strong man and fought hard for the free country he lived in. He owned his own business at the age of 23 and was married soon after. my grandpa was an awesome guy and we sure do miss him now!
Heroes
I think heroes are heroic because of many reasons, not only the deeds they do, or the tales made of them, but also because of how they act. The closest person to a hero in real life I could say is my dad because he's done a lot for me, I think my dad will always be my hero because he'll most likley always be their to help me out. My dad may not have done anything heroic in life but like I said he dosen't have to have done anything heroic to be my hero, just the way he is makes him my hero. Also i'm a hero, a guitar hero irl.
Also right now I really wanna get more ice cream bars, they're so yummy an i'm a chubster an it's almost time to go so peace out, I rock.

My Hero
Someone who is my hero and that i probably admire the most would have to be my dad. His life has been full of challenges and some how he always manages to pull through it. He always stayed strong going through hard times as a child and even now facing dificulties as an adult. I dont see my dad very often since my parents split 1 year ago, but we still remain close.
I cant really say i have done many heroic things. One thing that may count as being heroic is saving my sister when she was drowning. That was pretty scary since im deathly afraid of the water and cant swim.

i can be your hero baby
I can take away the pain..... nvm
i would consider my older brother, Alex Bevans, to be a hero to me. i look up to him quite a bit. Now that he is in college its hard to talk to him except by phone. We have been getting more 'brotherly' ever since i turned a junior, and we have a lot in common. So we always have a good time.
Hmm. Maybe something i have done that was heroic in some way would have to be giving some people rides when they needed one. or lending someone a dollar. if i think of something ill repost or something

Heros
ok so this might be a cop out; but a lot of people i considered heros have let me down, and the only person i could really consider my hero at this point would b Jesus. hes always there for me. I know a lot of people, or most people who read this wont be christians, but i know i can always pray and it helps me, whether its giving me strength or just helping me calm down and see things for what they are, my God has always been there for me. thats why Jesus is my hero.
im out of time for now, so im gunna log on later and edit this for the second part.

Not heros AGAIN?
Quite frankly I've had my fill of heroes, who mine is, and what I think defines them. I don't think about heroes; they're too rare and often times go unnoticed.
BUT. I suppose I can think of someone.
I would say that Christian is my personal (Jesus) hero. (Ha ha, Marylin Manson reference, had to, plus the pun of his name.)
Although he hasn't always been the best person to me all the time, he still has his moments.
Recently I've been feeling blue, and rather friendless. Going through tough times and one more thing atop another, everyday, certainly can press one's patience and sanity. And feeling like I have no real friend to turn to made the problems even worse.
Recently Christian and I have been getting closer, but at this point we still had a few boundaries, and from what I had experienced in the past with him made me feel that he was the last person I would want to spill my emotional garbage on. Until yesterday morning.
I had sent a funny text to one of my friends that I got into a tiff with, just trying to make up, sort of, but I sent it at midnight before I lost my nerve. Anyway, the next morning he sent me a text and asked me not to text him late, blah blah blah, point being he was a +vv@+ about it and hurt my feelers. Coincidentally Christian sent me a text and told me that he was sick of my shizz and was going to ditch me if I made him late for school ever again. Needless to say, I was quite upset. I sent him one that said that I was very sorry and I understand, it just wasn't the time to be kicking Kimbutt around. He was curious, and I explained to him what was going on and he understood. He even had empathy for me for he had been in that position before. I told him that I didn't have anyone to turn to, to rely on emotionally and for someone to support me, and although he did not outright say it, I could tell that he was trying to say that maybe... he... could be... it?
He's a very strange creature, but I'm quite accurate in interpreting his behavior and speech. There, of course, were other circumstances where he was a bit of a "hero" to me. He... saved me... from despair and loneliness more than once. I would like to share the other examples, but I don't think he would want me to. By the way, Christian, since you're reading this, have you found my glasses yet? I'm quite tired of being blind.

Heros
My hero is Jesus. Jesus is my hero because i believe that he saved my life by dieing on a cross so that i can live with him in heaven.Jesus did so many things that we could never do like walk on water or make a stormy sea calm. Jesus is defiantly the most important person in my life because i know that He died and rose again.I also know that he loves and cares about me and that he is watching over me and guiding my life. Without Jesus i would be so lost and who knows what kind of person i would be.
I have been able to be heroic by helping my mom with her feeding tube and medication. This is heroic because not every body knows how to do it, plus my mom could die or be in horrible pain without it, and it is a huge responsibility and can be very scary and unnerving. It can be hard some times to help my mom because her feeding tube looks really gross and painful and it makes me so sad and frustrated because she dose not deserve this and should not have to go through it. But i have stuck by her and have been trying to do what ever i can to help her and to be there for her. Weather its holding her hand, praying for her, listening to her, helping with her feeding tube, or if i have to drive her to her appointments this summer.

Hero's of our time...
Well Today in the year 2009 I am a very strong believer that we have many a hero in this world to this very moment. But i also believe that the word HERO is stretched pretty far if i do say so myself.
Many people might consider themselves a hero but i think that to be granted the title "HERO" you need to do more then just get a cat out of a tree, help some old lady across a highway, or get some not so smart kid'shead out of his desk. All of those thing's are nice but i do not think that any of those feats could grant you the title hero. As i am very sure though many people would consider themselves a hero for doing those feats. Also i bet people think they are herioc bye stoping a robber from stealing an old ladys purce.
When I think of a hero now and days I think a fire man (who has saved somone's life and did not boast about it) because he just ran/walked into a firery building and saved your life when he could have deemed it too dangerouse and just walked away. on top of that he did not gloat at all wich i think all hero's should not do to a certain extent. Also a great way to become a hero and rememberd is you could be self sacraficeing in many ways like taking a bullet for a person your not being payed to protect, giving your orgons to save a child's (now im not saying go home a cut yourself so that people will remember you).
Todays modern hero I think has lost its value also to what is compared to the times of the old but thats just me. I would rather things be the way they used to be.
EX1: GUITAR HERO= YOUR NOT A REAL HERO!!! GET OVER IT!!!
EX2: Sigurd the dragon slayer= Butt kicking viking who slays a dragon

Hero
I believe my hero could possibly be my stepfather. He has been there for me and my family bascially ever since I was born. I would not be the man I am today if I would have not met him and his family. There such a great group of people that i would not pass up to hang out with. I can make them laugh and have the favor returned.
Hero Time
For me, i think the biggest heroes out there would be police. Police are heroes to me because they put themselves in danger everyday. Pulling people over you don't know can be bad, they could have a gun for all they know. Or chasing someone running away is the same idea. Whatever the situation, i think the police are great modern heroes.

Hero and act of Heroism
Blog 2: Who I see as a Hero and what act of Heroism have I done?
My hero's would have to be everyone around me. That may seem a little strange, but it's true. My family is a big part of this. I mean I see them doing something stupid and I think to myself that I will never act like them. They taught me that drugs, and alcohol is pointless in many ways. There is other people out there that do amazing things that make me want to be more like them. What I'm trying to say is that being a hero to me is providing positive influence in the way they act in there normal life. They don't try and act heroic or act differently compared to how you see them. It doesn't have to be a good thing that they are doing as long as you can judge for yourself whether you should be doing that or not.
One heroic thing that I have done. I don't really know. I have never judged myself on how heroic I am. Looking back on what I picked as heroism, I would say that goofing off would tell people that it's okay to mess around sometimes. You don't have to be all business, or show if your with good friends nothing else should matter. This isn't really heroic, but in the end I don't believe one should judge themselves on heroism.

Hero/Heroic
This might sound a little weird to all of you but believe it or not, Dr. Drew is my hero fro many reasons. He hosts a very explicit but informative radio show that deals with any drug related or sexual concern/problem. I admire him for his incredible ability to answer questions to the point, and how his voice alone can reassure you that things are either going to be OK or are getting out of hand. Your strongest weapon is your brain, use it, and he does. So I admire him and look up to him for that reason.
Now as for myself doing any heroic things, I would really have to think hard on this matter. Probably I would have to say that it was way back when, when I was just a little kiddo. My mom collapsed in the kitchen and if memory serves me right she was either having a stroke or something around the severity of that. I was about 6 or 7 maybe a little younger and the first thing I did was call the local authorities (911 baby, not hard for a little kid to remember eh?) when they arrived they took my mom away and I was handed a little stuffed doggy with a fire hat on and the police officer told me that I was a smart brave kid and did the right thing. That, is probably the most heroic thing that I have done, so far =)

Hero
My hero would be my dad. He made me who i am today. He helped me by introducing me to sports because i was really shy. He spent countless hours teaching me his most loved sport, Wrestling. I have been wrestling since i was 2-3. The things he taught me will help me through out my life tell i die. I am truly thankful for him being in my life and i hope to be just like him when im a parent.
The most heroic thing ive done is saved someone from a water balloon. I just stepped in front of them and saved there clothes from being soaked.

Heroic you say?
My biggest hero would have to be my father Rick. Even though I don't always show it I still think he is a hero. He's a volunteer fire fighter, a mechanic, a great dad, a handy man, carpenter, and many other things. He always finds time for his family, he works on the equipment that firefighters use everyday, and he is always there when he is needed. Now maybe that's not a hero to you but it is to me. Weather you like it or not he's my hero and that's that.
As for my heroic deeds, I haven't really done anything that could be considered heroic except for possibly the Toy ~n~ Joy for the Rainier community. Although I'm not really sure you can call that heroic. Yeah it is for a good cause and yeah it's a good thing but it's not really heroic. I guess I'm just not meant to be a hero. No big deal.

Topic #2: Week of 2/8-2/14
Thanks to everyone who posted; all of you get full credit. Now this week you have a dual assignment: you are to post a blog on the new topic, and you are to leave 2 comments on blogs from last week. If you have already commented twice, you do not need to do it again. Clicking the "Interesting/cool/funny" boxes, while nice, does not count as a comment.
Sidenote: there's a little icon at the top of this posting box that has a checkmark with "ABC" written above it. That is a spellchecker. Use it.
New Topic:
We've been reading legends for over a week now, and talking as we go about the differences between what was chivalrous, what was admirable and heroic, back in King Arthur's time (or, more properly, in Sir Thomas Malory's time, when Le Morte d'Arthur was written), or in the African nations that told the tales of Sundiata, and now, here, 2009 in the United States. So I couldn't help wondering: what do we, today, consider heroic?
The most heroic figures I know of are pretty standard: Mohandas Gandhi, known as the Mahatma, Nelson Mandela, and Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. I admire them all because I do not think there is better evidence of strength of will and faith in your convictions than leading a non-violent movement for sweeping political change. Anybody that is willing to face police dogs and firehoses, or rifle bullets and bayonets, or more than twenty years in prison as a political dissident, with nothing but courage and open, empty hands -- that is heroic to me. As to which of the three was the most heroic, it is hard to decide -- which is why I'm weaseling and picking more than one person -- because all of them faced a nearly insurmountable task. They all tried to force those in power to give it up, for no other reason than that it is right to do so. They faced greed, ambition, hatred, and pride, and on their side? Only determination. These men should be heroes to us all.
The real test here, though, is whether or not these heroes have inspired heroic deeds in us. One of the purposes of a legend is to transmit moral values to the listeners, particularly to children: so have these legends, of these heroes, done so? Have I been heroic? The answer is probably no, in this specific case, simply because I'm too introverted and a leeetle bit too misanthropic to lead a movement to change the world. But I have been heroic in the past by our society's standards. In 1998, when my then-girlfriend Toni and I were living on the top floor of a converted house in Santa Cruz, Toni woke me up one night with the words, "I smell smoke." We both jumped out of bed and Toni, who has a keen sense of smell, followed the smell to its source: our downstairs neighbor's car was on fire. With much cursing, Toni ran outside to move her car, which was parked right next to the burning minivan. I went to the kitchen and called 911, and then grabbed the fire extinguisher and took it outside, where I put out the fire. It turned out later that our neighbor, who wasn't home at the time, was, shall we say, gang affiliated, and had been the target of a little payback shaped like a gascan and a match. Our other neighbors had slept through the whole thing, waking up only when the firemen arrived. But thanks to my wife's nose, and my firefighting skills, the house was saved.
So there's your question. It's a two-parter, and requires a minimum two paragraphs answer (though paragraphs are pretty flexible on blogs). First, name one person (or more) who you consider heroic, and explain why. It doesn't have to be a famous person, but it does have to be a real person -- you cannot choose Batman. Second, describe one act you have performed that might be considered heroic. Please remember that there are many aspects of heroism, and that it doesn't have to be incredible or impressive -- the fire wasn't really all that big.
Blogs are due by midnight Saturday, February 14.

Past Regret.
I would say that one of the major things that I regret in my past, although it wasn't really my fault or doing was the life I was involved in and had to live when I was a child. My mother had always been a very cantankerous woman, but after her and my father got a divorce (about 1st or 2nd grade) it was all downhill from there. She got into drugs really heavily, and turned our once tranquil home into the safe haven for drug addicts. The life I now begun to get involved in and the people I affiliated myself with at the young age of 10 was quickly turning me down the road of failure and self-humiliation. I am ashamed to say that I did commit several crimes, even at a very young age. With no parental supervision I quickly begun to tear myself free from any moral fabric that was instilled upon me beforehand. School became even less of a priority to me. If I even showed up for school I spent most of my time in the pricipal's office anyways. And I even took pleasure and enjoyment into consideration before my own physical and mental well-being. Let's just say I couldn't do very many things right if any at all. That was until my father took my mother's sorry a$& to court and got custody of me and my brother. I straightened out very quickly under the keen eye of my father who wouldn't stand for any disobedience from myself. For that I thank him. I soon begun to see how much of a failure I had become and how much I didn't want to be that person that I was before. I'm not saying I regret the person that it shaped me to become today, I actually am happy with the person I am. I am saying that if I could go back I would change most of everything that I did and get a jump on it early. And that's what I regret that I could not do.
Regrets...
I would not say that I regret anything I've done, sure I've done things I probably shouldn't have but do I regret them? No, I don't regret the things I've done or things that have happen because if it weren't for it I wouldn't be the person I am today. I would probably look at them more as good life lessons.

My biggest regret
When people look at me, they always think of a nice, gentle person who couldn't get mad at anything. Well, until recently (summer 08) that wasn't true. The one thing i regret most in my life was attempted suicide. I know a lot of teens think about it, and i had thought about it a lot. Only problem is that apparantly, people don't start thinking about killing themselves in 2nd grade. That's when i started to think about it. I used to be just fine, living in LA, used to be a great place. Then, my parents found better jobs in Portland, but still needed to take care of stuff in LA, so, instead, dropped me off with my aunt and uncle, and sometimes, my grandparents. Only after a month of being there without my mom and dad did i for no reason whatsoever, discover death, and i always thought about it. My parents did come up eventually, but the thought never went away. After i came home, i'd "work on homework", and then only think about suicide the rest of the night. It was only a thought for about 8 years, until high school. Maybe it was hormones speaking to me, but i just couldn't take life anymore, and i did many different things (won't go into detail) to try and kill myself. Then, i finally got the news that i was moving out of Portland, away from some close friends, and to a new town called St. Helens. I was really not happy, and i continued every so often, without anyone noticing, because i apparantly really didn't know how to commit suicide. This frustrated me even more, making me feel like more than a failure that i already was. I never really gave off signs of this, no cuts, drugs, alcohol. I was just so "happy" and nice all the time. Then my junior year, my parents finally realized something was wrong, and took me into thearpy. They were not to happy realizing that i have been thinking about it and doing things for years. Though i didn't stay long in therapy, i started to realize, what am i thinking, i've got so many friends who would do anything for me, parents who do provide for me, and of course, music and women. I now understand that there are people out there with worse conditions, and that i shouldn't be complaining at all. I should help those that feel the way i did. Things are now good, and i have no more feelings of that, but it is still the biggest regret in my life to ever think or do such a thing.
Regret
I should have payed more in my LA 11 class so i would nit have to take it over my senior year cuz its not fun to have to take a class over. So i have desided to pay attention my second time around so i can graduate on time.
I don't usually regret things, i feel that you shouldn't regret if you learned from what you did wrong. Its like the saying "its only a mistake if you didn't learn something from it". That's what I believe. If i did somehting and knew i didnt learn from it i would regret it but right now i cant think of anything. i know i probably have at one point in time in my life though.
should have listened
i generally dont regret things. so this is kind of a hard topic, but i have regreted one thing for sure. that was when i letmy friends talk me into goin to a cool event that was for fire fighting... yea i went several times and had a blast. a few of my friends went and we all rode with my friend troy, but one week he was busy and couldnt drive so i convinced my dad to let me ride with a friend of mine austin.. i was excited because my dad never let me ride in cars with people he didnt know but he trusted me to make the right choice and so he let me go and told me to be home on time at 10 since i had school the next day... well everything was cool me and a few other people rode with austin there but only i rode back ... my friend james tried to get me to ride with him because he didnt trust austin with me alone but i told my dad i was riding with austin so thats what i did. after all what could he do? well after about 15 minutes alone he pulled over on the side of the rode and tried to kiss me i fought it the whole way and luckly my dad started calling my fone so i answered and said we where right around the corner.... austin hurried to get me home so everything was alright.... after that night i respected my dads rule about meeting people before i was allowed to leave with them and i really regreted not listening to james the night before... i wont ever forget it thats for sure!
what I regret
This is kinda of a hard of a hard topic to write about. I really dont have things that i regret anything that I have done in my life, i have learned from those regrets. But if I really had to think of something that I regret it would be in the eighth grade when I started hanging out with people that I shoudn't have been hanging out with. I started doing really bad things that I didnt think that I would do at the age, i would be really disricpictful to my parents. Everything that I was doing that time In my life got me into having a fight over a guy that liked( dont know why i liked him when I look back at it now) I ended up getting suspended form school and having to go to court over the whole fight that never should have happened.
Oh the Regretratations
I definitely regret not doing well in my freshmen and sophomore years, skipping too much school and letting my grades drop. I also regret being a not very nice person and being over-critical to way too many people who didn't deserve it. That is all, thanks for reading

Regret
What do I regret??? I regret not passing my Language Arts classes and being A junior in a Language Arts 9 class and all my other classes I did not pass. But thankfully I am on track to graduate with a couple of credits to spare if i pass all my classes.
Sophmore Year
The thing i regret the most is my sophmore year because I thought my freshman year was so easy i would just slide by. But i did't i failed most of my classes and now all my classes are sophmore classes exept for like two. I never thought i would be i this situation(i might not graduate). So my best advice to all incoming freshman actaully try your best and don't think you can just do it later because you'll end up running out of later's.

What should i regret
In my life life I try to live my life to the best I can and without regret. This can be a hard for some but for me I do no regret alot or thats what i think. If I had to choose somthing I regreted it would have to be the time i chose the SOUP over the SALAD!
I chose the salad like I usually do because it has this dressing that just delivers a burst of flavor to your mouth that just leaves you craveing more. Also this salad has your basic lettuce, tomato's cucumber, carrots, and crutons which are all blended perfectly together with this dressing.
On the other hand the soup of the day sounded astounding. When i asked the waitress what it was she explained it as a kind of light (not overly spicey) curry chicken just without the rice and not as thick. I am a person who really enjoys his curry it would most likely be one of my top 5 favorite dishes to eat on any given day.
My mother observed that I was torn between the two so she said "I will order the soup you can get the salad and I will give you a taste of mine and You could get some next time." So i agreed and I orderd the salad When the salad and soup had arrived the soup had an aroma that made my mouth water with anticipation. My first mistake was that I had to use the restroom so i decided that i would use the restroom before I had gotten a bite of soup. I did not take to mind that my mother really love's her food. As i came back sure enough my mother had eaten all of her soup and I did not get a single bite.
After dinner was over I was not too mad because i knew that i would be able to get the soup "NEXT" time but as you can guess there was no "NEXT" time because when we had gone back out too dinner somone got food poisoning from the soup the day after me and my mother ate their... but i would have eaten that soup so good if i could have... and to this very moment 2/4/09 at 9:45AM... I still regret not getting the soup... over the salad -_-"

I regret quite a bit, but...
There are a lot of bad things I've done in my lifetime, although most of which I benefited from, there are a few things that I could have done without. Like my drinking phase, I learned a lot from it. You know, things from my limit, to what drink does what to me, to the "I'm never doing that again".
But I'd have to say that dickin' around my freshman and sophomore year would be something I regret. Then again, I wouldn't have the social skills nor the experiences I have now if I hadn't. Beside that, it was my first taste of freedom.
Another one to regret is letting one of my ex boyfriends go (NOT XIAN) and burning that bridge with the pregnant deal. It was the only time I ever did it and I swore to myself it would be the last and it was. So there.
Mmm. I regret also not being mature enough when I was a child to recognize the atrocities of my childhoood. Then again, I would not be the Kimbug I am today if not for that.
Seriously though, I miss that ex boyfriend. He was my first (and terrible) kiss. Down by the docks. In fact, the display picture of me is that very spot where we kissed.
Odd...

Regretting
Blog 1: What do I regret?
I regret being, so lazy in school. Since fifth grade and I was in Miss Norton's class I have slacked off. I don't usually do homework, classwork, I procrastinate until the last moment, and I didn't really care about coming to school. Everyone tells me that I shouldn't be failing classes because I'm smarter then that, and I know this, but I'm just really lazy. To tell the truth I wasn't to worried about graduating, because I was thinking that it was only and extra year, but thinking about it. After High School I have to decide how to live my life. If I'm lazy in school then I'll probably be lazy doing my job. That is why my main regret is being, so lazy in school.

Dish Fights
It seems like me and my parents would always get in a fight. Usually about things like dishes. I washing hate dishes!even now but I have learned that I need to do them when I'm told. What I regret is the fact that I never should have treated them like that. I mean my mom was sick for about four years and yeah we didn't know it but we did have signs like she would cough so bad that you thought she was going to die if she didn't get a glass of water. and my dad he has to get up at three a clock in the morning just to go to work. So I feel like I should have treated them better. I have told them all this before and they say I as just being a kid but I don't know I feel like I should of treated them better than I did. With things as hard as they are at home I see just how much my miss behaving harts those around me. I can remember times when I would get my dad so mad for not getting the dishes done that he would get me up at three a clock in the morning to do dishes. We'd fight and I'd struggle and eventually I would end up doing the dishes at four o'clock in the morning with tears running down my face. Usually this was after about a week of not doing dishes just because I didn't want to and I also felt like if I had to do the dishes I was going to do it on my terms. I of course realize that the world dose not work like this. The thing I have not told my parents is that I am sorry for being so stubborn and causing so much stress for my family. To my brother I'd Have to say that I'm sorry for those long nights that I kept him awake by fighting with my parents and for a the hurt feelings and bad habits/things that I have taught you.
