i dont really know what to think about immigrants because at one point or another our ancestors were immigrants to this country. i really dont tghink we should stop people from comming into our country but i think we need to have higher standerds on who gets in and i think we need better borderline security. i think its kinda hypocrytical that everyones freaking out about immigrants when not so long ago we had the bracero program that brought them in to the united states because we needed their help and now that we dont need them anymore we wont help them.... i just think its kinda ridiculous.
also the words emmigration and immigration deeply confuse me... i never know which one to use.

The Bracero program, i'm not sure but was it the one that let them come and work and get paid without making them actual citizens? If so I remember hearing that they could become citiziens if they wanted, but most of them wanted to go back to there familys....I might be talking about somthing else though so forgive me if i'm wrong.
