Gosh Darn Recession

I believe what the school district needs to do is cut down dramatically on non-essential activities through the school. One example, field trips. The kids learn the same things at school and it doesn't cost a rediclious amount of money. Another, cut some computers, we have a computer lab that we cant even use, which is solely used for testing. that's  bull crap and a half. Now, my final statement on this topic would be teacher pay-cuts. I understand why teachers would not want to work a couple days for free, but their is something that we need to do to have a little more money in the school districts bank account.

        Sincerely,

I know, I stare into that computer lab and glare at it's emptiness

Why don't YOU work for free, hmmm? Tell you what: do ten pages out of that grammar book and I won't grade them, okay?

I understand the need to take a pay cut, lose days of pay, and so on -- but why the heck would I keep working without compensation on those days?
