Illegal Imigration..?

I personally am sick and tired of hearing about illegal immigration. i hear it way too much. i think that if we can't exactly stop them from coming over illegally than what can we do? nothing. and i've never been against integration. i love it actually. i get bored with the same old culture every friggin day of my life. i like it when we have a lot of different people around. i like to learn their views, their culture, their life. i find it fun and exciting and when people tell me that this is america and we speak english and all that crap. i get really irritated. does it not say in the declaration of independance that ALL men are created equal? why now do people exclude color and race?

Looking Forward..

HAWAII BABY!!!!!! Yes that's right, i'm looking forward to moving to Hawaii. I can't wait to have my own life with my rules and a place that i can call my own. sure it will be very hard but that's what makes it all worth it in the long run. i can't wait to step outside of my house and feel like i'm at home. I feel like it's going to be the first place in a long time that i will actually get that feeling.

My Day to Perfection.

In my eyes a perfect day would consist of many things. I hate it when people think that you have to have money to be happy or have fun with loved ones. Granted it helps sometimes but it's not a necessity. My perfect day would start out waking up and listening to the world. soon to be the jungle! I can't wait. I'd go for a walk see the people new and old. Call my sister next and ask if she wanted to come with me to Saturday Market (the greatest place ever). we'd stay there for quite a while and when i got home i would cook dinner for my family eat outside and talk listen to the best music ever (Janis, Beatles, Johnny, Bob Marley and dylan, etc etc.) and then i would enjoy a sleep filled with awesome dreams. i know i know i'm good.

Ten things I hate.

I will put the list down right now then I will simplify what I mean. 1) Peyton and Eli Manning, 2) People who laugh at the dumbest things ever. 3) Know-it-all's. 4) People who try to help, but just physically cant 5) Jehovah witnesses. 6) Telemarketers. 7) Sham-wow's. 8) I will probably get bashed for this one, but The Beatles. 9) Buick Regal. 10) The All American Rejects. I HATE the Manning's with a fiery passion that dwells inside of me. There are people in our class that laugh at the weirdest things to laugh at. Like if someone said "platypus" for example, the person would laugh hysterically. I don't think I need to explain the Know-it-all part, kinda self explanatory. I know people who I worked with on projects, and for their life, could not help even if you told them to work sixty times. It's like their deaf.  Jehovah witnesses, they try to push their religion on you. Telemarketers, it ceases to amaze me how they manage to get your number from the "No call list." Sham-wow's, I've been sucked into false advertising. They look like rubber-ish but when you get them, there just felt. It's disappointing. The Beatles, I know that there arguably the most popular band EVER, but I just have never got on the Beatle train ( Or Yellow Submarine per say.) The Buick Regal, I can't believe some people believe thats a muscle car *cough, David Hyneman, cough* First of all, that car is a luxury car, not a muscle or sport car. Lastly, The All American Rejects. The lead singers voice is.........I don't know how to describe it. It's almost whiny and just simply annoying.

     Sincerely,
       Nik Jennings

Beauty.

I believe beauty is an important aspect on life. People underestimate outer beauty and inner beauty. I wouldn't say we need to adresses this issue, but people should think about it before they judge someone.

     Sincerely,
       Nik Jennings

History of cheating.

I think cheating has helped us in good was as much as bad ways. Ranging from athletes testing positive for a banned substance, or the NBA referee Tim Donaghy betting on games that he even refereed. Thats the bad part. The good part of cheating in history could be......................... let me think................... nothing, absoutely no part is good in cheating. You should feel ashamed in yourself. ( Guilty as charged.)

     Sincerely,
       Nik Jennings

Things stuck in my head.

This is a tough topic for me because the majority of things that get stuck in my head come at random times of the day. But I would have to agree with Mr. Humphrey on that song "Gives You Hell." I HATE THAT SONG!!!!! I don't like the style of the song, and I don't like the band itself. If the All American Rejects were on this planet no more, I would not care. That is one of the biggest things that I get stuck in my head, just bands who sing songs that are just annoying. I don't really get things stuck in my head besides songs, and there songs that I want to get stuck in my head, one example: Even Flow by Pearl Jam. I don't know how the world would live today without Eddie Vedder's voice.

     Sincerely,
       Nik Jennings

Perfect day.

My perfect day would consist of waking up around 6:30-ish, just the perfect time where the sun is just starting to rise, then make myself a bowl of Cinnamon Life Cereal, then take a shower. After that, I would estimate it would be around 10-11 O'Clock. for lunch, I would make a ham and cheese sandwich on wheat bread, then after im done drinking the occasional Mountain Dew, I would call all my close friends and ask them if they would want to go bowling, After bowling for a couple hours, I would assume it would be around 6-7 O'Clock, we would all go to a southern style reaustrant. If I had to name one that is closely related in the majestic St. Helens, Oregon, I would probably say the Country Inn. After we ate, the sun would most likely be setting, and I cant think of anything else better then laying down in a field and watching the sun set, and laying under the starts ( Cheesy I know).

     Sincerly,
       Nik Jennings

What I am looking forward to.

What I am looking forward to in the not so distant future, or one year from now, Is that either I will be home from boot camp, or I will be serving my time overseas. I am so stoked and cant wait to see what the world is like. I'm leaving in august for boot camp, and I'm going to do my schooling at the same time, so I will be at boot camp for a total of 5 months. Then I should graduate towards the new year.

       Sincerely,
        Nik Jennings

Perfect day.

For me, the perfect day of my life would be.

The weather is about in the nineties CAUSE I ABSOLUTLEY love the hott more than anyone you'll meet.
And I can wear my shorts, and tank top and get tan...And go to the beach.
I love to walk along the strips in Cali, And go surfing. The perfect day would have to be in San Clemente for me.
NO worries, It would deffinatley have to be summer time. No SCHOOL!

I would be with a puppy, yes of course. A puppy. :)

I would be with my dad prolly, he tends to constantly be my best friend. :)

Anyways, and be with my best girlfriends or what not. :) That would be my perfect day.

Illegal Immigration.

First of all, at first the subject of illegal Immigration would be brought up and I would get mad. At first I though, How lame...there just regular people like everyone else. Why should they have rules and limits of what they can and cant do. But then I stop thinking about it and I talk about it and I hear everyones side.
And I realize, they bring diseases over, And have tons of children they dont have the necessary education and they are taking up all our open accessable jobs. Its like, I mean they are all nice people and of course when I say some Im not singling out all of them...But alot of things they bring over with them and stuff that they do isnt so great.
So i dont really know what to think about the matter....

Stuck IN MY HEAAAAAAAAD!

Some things that happen to get stuck in my head for such a long time.
First, The song BOOM BOOM BOOM On Z100. Gosh that song plays and its instantly stuck in my head for the rest of eternity. I could be thinking about some random subject and not even heard that song that day, and it will pop up in my head.

Second, An alarm clock in the morning......GOD it sucks. I hear it in my head before It goes off cause I know im going to have to get up soon.

The thing about music or something being stuck in your head, is if its a good song then its like heck yeah!!! i have this song stuck in my head.
But if it sucks I mean just totally sucks then its like gosh dang it.

But oh well, i dont really have anything more to talk about on this subject cause most things dont get stuck in my head all the time.

The fuuuuuuture.... o-o;

I'm going to be moving up to Washington this summer probably where my dad lives and taking a few summer college classes and getting a job. I also was hoping to go to Blizzcon with Will Bartley but I don't know if that's going to happen, i'm looking forward to meeting new people and can't wait for new games to come out. (Starcraft 2 mainly, hope it's good.)

ring ring ring ring ring stuck in my head ring ring ring ring ring ring

A few of the most addicting songs i find also to be my favorite songs for some reason....

One being: Banana Phone " ring ring ring ring ring ring ring banana phone!" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=neKXc7pw4go Now you can have your phone and eat it too!

Two is : Rock Lobster(the family guy version) "But it wasn't a rock... it was a rock lobster... rock lobster!" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4mwCs6yOuUU

and third: Skatman (this version is the best because the really creepy guy) " if the skatman can do it so can you" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3B3I4YirD9U

Aliens!! from across the border...

I really think that if someone tries as hard as they do just let them be give them that citizenship test thing that immigrants take sometimes and let them stay if not say better luck next time and toss them back to there homeland! Also if we did not have the illegal people that so many people hate so much who would be doing all the really crappy jobs that no one els wants to do because they are to proud to do it or maybe just the fact that most americans are very very lazy. so thats what i think let them stay if they can pass the test ( that most people in our country now can not pass) and kick out the ones who do not pass. we dont need uber death fence just a little booth that says "test"... they will figure it out

Perfect day

I'd wake up with the song the WB frog sings all the time. I open my eyes to see myself in the mirror on my ceiling that appeared out of nowhere. I'd get up to go down stairs with the smell of langanisa cooking on the stove. I would sit down and eat very much, and enjoy every bite. Then, my butler Arnold Schwarzenegger would help me with brushing my teeth, combing my hair, clipping my toe nails, and all of those other fun stuff. I would dress in my favorite black plaid shorts and a black southpole shirt. Then, i would go to my broken elavator where Chuck Norris is standing, and he would open the door with his Super Saiyan powers and take me to the roof himself. With the sun shining brightly, Arnold would take me downtown to meet my friends in his chopper. From there, we would just walk all over Portland. Lunch time has come. We eat at only the best restraunt; my house. We get there with a buffet ready for eating. Broccili with nacho cheese, macaroni and cheese, hashbrowns, eggs, popcorn chicken, etc. The best part would be at the end of the buffet, with a stack of bacon in the shape of a guitar.(that would be freaking sweet) It's almost time for my concert at the Rose Garden. My friends just hang back stage while me and the band starts warming up. It's pretty awesome since we are playing with "System of a down". After the performance, it's about midnight. I get a call from pepsi, confirming my personal supply of "Pepsi Blue" But it's been a long day, so it's time to go to bed. As i lay down, i need a lullaby, so I have Betty White read me a story. She finishes the story but i'm still awake. So she sings "The Final Countdown" and i slowly drift off to dreamland.

Illegal Immigration

I don't really like this illegal immigration that is going on. I used to think that it was just people from south of our border coming here, but from what i recently researched, there are also other people from all around the world, which makes me wonder how good America's security is. But oh well, not really much i can say with this topic. I just don't like all the benifits illegal people get that should belong to the citizens of this country.

Looking forward..

Next year i hope to be going to school at chemeketa. There i will be studying fire science and getting my paramedics in hopes to become a fire fighter/paramedic. There has always been some thing about saving lives and helping others thats appealed to me. So i do not have to commute from st. helens to salem, me and a couple buddies are going to get an apartment there.. one of them is going to school for the same thing as me and the other is going just to go further his education.. until he figures out what he wants to do and if hell transfer to a 4-yr. the thing that i am not looking forward to is bills :( oh well.

GET OUT OF MY HEAD!!!!!!!!!

I get many things stuck in my head, so continue reading if you like. This will probably end up being about as long as an essay. So because of this, i will separate things by music, movie, and random. And for the music, i will provide a link to youtube just in case you don't know the song and want to know more about it, or if you just want them stuck in your head too.

MUSIC

1) "Everything I do" by Bryan Adams. "Look into your heart you will find there's nothing there to hide take me as I am take my life I would give it all I would sacrifice"
I watched a new episode of "Family Guy" and Stewie makes a music video for a girl he likes and this is the song he uses. This line for some reason stuck in my head and always makes me laugh. Hahahahaha. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZGoWtY_h4xo

2) "Never gonna give you up" by Rick Astley. The whole song just gets stuck in my head. And once i start singing it out loud, then everybody else has to join because it's just so classic i guess. Then after a while, the gay version of the song (me and my senior project mentor made up) gets stuck in my head. If you want to hear that one, you'll have to ask me. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yu_moia-oVI

3) "Surfin' Bird" by The Trashmen. "Every body's heard, about the bird" I usually start singing this song in any of Humphrey's classes, any time i hear the word "word". http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZThquH5t0ow

4) "Chop Suey" by System of a Down. "Wake up grab a brush and put on a little make up hide the scars to fade away the shake up why'd you leave the keys up on the table here you go create another fable" This song is awesome and very catchy, and i also enjoy the lounge version of this song. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mdRd3k4CIAg

5) "One Week" by Barenaked Ladies. The fast paced lyrics make it fun to sing, and the fact that seem to be the only person to remember the lyrics and able to sing them make it even more fun. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EsFjqpc-xGs

6) "I'm with Stupid" by Static-X. "So i grab my shovel". Why the hell is that even in there?http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eCVBYr4smGA

7) "Scream" by Avenged Sevenfold "Scream till there's silence scream while there's life left vanishing scream from the pleasure unmask your desire perishing" I have no idea why this one gets stuck in my head but it is a good song. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5HSwFR0uZVQ

8) "Voodoo" by Godsmack. "I'm not the one who's so far away when I feel the snake bite enter my veins never did I wanna be here again and I don't remember why I came." Just another one of their amazing songs and it's also a little bit easier for everyone to sing along with. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0Vp3Sa7Fc2w

9) "Chocolate Rain" by Tay Zonday. How can this not get stuck in your head. Chocolate rain over and over again.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EwTZ2xpQwpA

10) "Slave on Line" by Xe-NONE. It's RAVE METAL. Kind of hard to get out of your head.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uWml6GTfh3k

11) "The Safety Dance" by Men Without Hats. "We can dance if we want to we can leave your friends behind cause your friends don't dance and if they don't dance well they're no friends of mine" There is no way you won't be dancing with this while you sing it.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HcOZ6xFxJqg

12) "Holy Diver" covered by Killswitch Engage. "Holy Diver you've been down too long in the midnight sea oh what's becoming of me ride the tiger you can see his stripes but you know he's clean oh don't you see what I mean gotta get away Holy Diver" It's a good song. That's all i know to say.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1qNxWEyUvqo

Movie

1) "I'll never let go" from the movie Titanic. This is my favorite movie but I just think it's hilarious how Rose says this to Jack and then let's go. What a hypocrite.

2) Little Nicky. The voice Adam Sandler uses always pops into my head.

3) "Who humped this bunk?" from the movie Starship Troopers. Just really random

4) "So, if you don't shoot this mother f****r, y'all better shoot yourselves" from the movie Wanted. This is the first time I've ever hear Morgan Freeman curse, so this really made me happy.

Random

1) Just any "Family Guy quotes.

2) Anytime i eat a sandwich, i always check because my younger brother made me a sandwich once, and he mistook horseradish for mayonnaise and i took a big bite of this sandwich. Horseradish is nasty.

3) Food. I really like food.

Budget goes emo

I am really upset with how big of a budget cut we're getting, as well as all the other schools here in America. I think this is wrong, but if there is nothing we can do about it, then that's ok, because i know we'll get through it. Some things we can do to save money is cut down on spendings of sports. I don't want there to be a limit to who can play, but maybe cut down on new uniforms, or how many teams we are verusing. We can do the same thing with Marching band. We don't need an amazing show to win, we just need good band members.

Global Warming, it's real people.

Since humans have roamed this earth we have had some type of earth destruction. Cutting trees, eating/killing animals and plants, throwing things in the water, and air pollution. This is a very serious thing. Depletion of the o-zone layer isn't cool, or we wont have anything to keep us and our planet safe from the rays of the sun. It really upsets me when people don't think the climate and weather is changing because of us destroying it. I don't think the earth would kill itself...
Obviously we all know what is happening on land, but what about the water... when the air pollutes, our oceans, rivers and streams get polluted as well. All of our garbage seems to find it's way to the ocean, check out The Garbage Patch on like YouTube or something.
This is serious and we need to stop it now.

Next year.

What i am looking forward to next year would to be actually being able to graduate... I think that that is on the top of my list. And also would to be getting my licence... I don't think that there is much more to be looking forward to than graduating high school.

THE ULTIMUST PERFECTO DAY

The most perfect day I could possibly think of in my twisted mind would have NO NONE AT ALL NOT A SINGLE NO EXCEPTIONS DOUCHE BAG PARENTS/ADULTS I'm not even kidding i am so tried of parents being total wankers for reason at all then to be a total jerk for no reason. It's a sad day when a parent has to be a jerk to other people just because they feel bad for how crappy parents they are! that would be my perfect day! no ice cream rainbow's or lemon drop rain drops or any of that crap! Just no Turrible parents

Perfect Day.

Perfect day..... My perfect day i think would just to be with friends and just to be able to do whatever we want to do no matter what. Having control over anything we do. I'm not so sure what we would do just as long as i am with my friends and are doing what we want i think that would be my perfect day.

Looking forward to the future.

I'm definitely looking forward to getting a job and moving out sometime in the next year or two. I'm not looking forward to having to pay bills and taxes yadayada. I am excited to get to drive my car around wherever and whenever I want to. I will have the freedom to hangout with my friends until 3:00 in the morning if I feel like it without getting an ear full from my parents. I do what I want mann. But I will have to look out for myself now, with the freedom comes so much responsibility.

Perfect Day... If only

Blog #13: Perfect days never appear... T_T

The perfect day for me would being able to spend the whole day learning what I want to learn and spending it with Krystal. It would be a nerd Utopia. I can't really explain a perfect day. I've never really thought of it that much. I would just like to control reality to my will for one day.

That's me...hehe.

Cheating whatever

I agree with the article and believe that a lot of people cheat. I myself cheat as well (not in school, but occasionally in video games) It doesn't matter what age group, any age group will cheat, weather it be a board game for kids or a big business plan for adults, or a test in school. There are times when it can be bad but I myself have a really hard time stating my opinion because it always depends on the situation of why you're cheating. One situation that it would be good to cheat is if you were being tested by Jigsaw from "SAW" and he was making you take a test in geography and this is your worst subject. If you happened to have all the answers, i would do it. Otherwise, if you fail it, the collar on your neck would rip all your skin off then he would throw you in a swimming pool filled with vinegar and salt (with chlorine of course, i mean, the pool needs to stay clean)

What im looking fowrad to and what im not......

I'm looking forward to being a senior but then again I'm also not looking froward to it because I'm not really ready for it yet.. then again I'm not looking forward to moving away to Washington, Because ill lose all my friends that i have met here and I'm not good with Meeting new ppl that i don't know or don't want to know what so ever. I'm not the biggest ppl person i hang out with the ppl i know and only the ppl i know. If i don't know u i want hang out with u, plan and simple.

NEXT YEAR!!!!!!!!!

Blog #14: Next year...

Yeah... Next year I'll be in this school again. Well after going to Basic for the summer. I'll be back here for one semester. Go me. I'll be going to Basic, as I said, for two months. Then coming back to this school for one semester. Hopefully no longer. After that I have to go through AIT then I can actually pick my career field in the military.

Yeah I know it's short.

THE END OF HELL! I mean school. hahaha

First thing I'm going to do is go camping, then I'm going to move out of this hellish state and into another one right across the river. That one won't be so bad because no one knows my father or my moronic cousin Marcus. (That's right he's my cousin, not my brother.) I'll be going to Everest College to study Massage therapy, and then after that I am moving out of this regon and into my family's ranch out side of LoneStar Texas. I'll be free of the tyrany of my mother, free of the freezing cold temperatures, and free of the ominous preasence of my father's family and influence. Weather they like it or not.

PS. Humphery's classes are the best! (don't give me anything for this. I don't need or want it.)

One perfect day...

My perfect day would be at a warm tropical beach with a couple of friends.
The day would start with a scrumptious breakfast of sweet sticky rice topped with coconut milk, roasted coconut shreddings and sliced mango around the edges. (I ate some a Thai restaurant) We would eat it out on the porch and listen to the waves coming and going.
After breakfast I would get dressed and roam the beach, play in the water, and just lay out and enjoy the sun. After awhile of that I would go a check out tourist spots and stop for lunch somewhere, maybe try a local dish.
As the evening approached it would start to rain (warm rain) really heavy as I was walking back to my hut and I would sit on my the porch with some iced tea and watch the rain and sun down. Once the rain was done I would go out a little ways toward the beach and start a fire to make dinner on. I would probably eat some kind of fish that I bought in town and some vegetables. With a chocolate moose cake for dessert.

My prefect day

I would want to go to Disney Wolrd and just go crazy with my Friends and Famliy. Then half way threw the day i would go on a little crusie around a lake to Calm down with my Family and Freinds. Whe the night came i would sit down by a campfire and just talk to my famliy and friends About all the good times we had.

What should i look forward too?

Yes, the whole I'm getting out of the house, being alone, and paying bills sounds like a ton of fun doesn't it? Not having the luxury of saying hey mom can you help me pay for this or just pay for it all by yourself now its go out and get it yourself!

If i had to choose something that i have to look forward too is having my dream job in time (being a police officer then joining S.W.A.T) and also being able to live with my girlfriend so she can finally get out of that hell hole she calls home. I also think it will be nice to finally relax without any children around and just be with the people that i like/love

Perfect Day.

A perfect day for me would be hanging out with as many of my close friends as I can. Where everybody can get along and I have an unlimited amount of money to do anything. Maybe go on a road trip. We would eat at any place that sounds good along the way on our road trip. I would donate money to strange places too since I would have an unlimited amount of money. It would be so epic. ftw!

The most perfect day I can imagine

My perfect day would begin with a brilliant, blood red sunrise. Breakfast would consist of a Bacon, and Cheddar omelet, and a tall glass of milk.
After breakfast I would go back to my room and pull out my robes, then I would pick out three or four good books, go outside and sit in a tree and read.
At noon I would go inside and have a large cheese and mayonnaise sandwich. After which I would go back out doors and write in one of my random stories until I tired of it, then, once bored I would read more of my book.
Dinner would consist of a steak, mashed potatoes, Green beans smothered in butter, and a tall glass of Pepsi. After which I would go out and enjoy my book until the sun set in a blood red blaze of glory. I would then sleep and it would repeat again the next day.

What I'm looking forward to

well on the real, im scared about what the future holds for me.. i really dont know what I really wanna do with my life, i have ideas about it and all but thats about it, but its better than nothing. next year thought i'll be done with high school and be working and going to school, it should be nice, a change , a new thing for me to experience. sometimes i wish i could see into the futrue just to see what i need to do now to get where ima be going, but whatever should be interesting for me.

Da per-fkt DAY son!

I make some delicious pancakes at 8 a.m. afterwhich I get a glass of V8 pomegranite-blueberry mixed with some Simply Orange orange-pineapple juice with some 7up with kool-aid ice cubes. I then rest in a recliner and watch the 90 degree weather go by, with such nice weather I take off to the beach. However I'm modifying the beach a little, the water has no adhesive relativity to the sand therefore it doesn't get all over your feet and skin and all that good stuff. After that I would probably stay in the water for hours upon hours and leave at 7 p.m. . After I head home I would LAN with all of my friends and they would all have high quality computers so everybody could do exactly the same thing. Then at 11:30 I would watch the greatest movie ever "Fanboys" and pass out from exhaustion.

Perfect world / day

I don't know if this would be perfect but i'd hope it would be. It'd be a nerds dream, the setting would be pretty much a be a world setting like World of Warcraft. I'd wake up from an inn I stayed at for the night and be off on exploring the regions of the land, hearing the birds chirping from the lush green forrest laiden land. My pet crab named, yomommascrab, would be at my side ready to follow me anywhere. First we eat breakfast, Seasoned wolf Kabob and some goldthorn tea, after that we would be off to the dry dessert region shimmering flats, once we got past we'd get to the equally terrible region dessert of Tanarias where we would make camp and eat a lunch of Pickled Kodo and some goldenbark apples quickly though cause the hot dessert quickly starts to dry the food. We would make our way to Un'goro crater where we would reach the northern part of the crater and set up camp for the night.

I LOVE BEING A NERD ROFLWAFFLES.

THE LAST BLOG

Well, for most of you, anyway.

Most of you will be finishing this class on next Tuesday, June 2. You will be graduating that Friday, June 3 -- assuming you actually have enough credits to graduate. For this week's blog topic, then, we should follow the traditional graduation theme and ask you to look forward into your future.

What are you looking forward to in the next year? What are you not looking forward to in the next year?

(Those of you who are Juniors, you can and should answer this question, as well. I'm not graduating, either -- more's the pity.)

I am looking forward to finishing my second book this next year, and having something to shop around to agents again. I'm looking forward to having something else to write about; I've been working on the same idea for three years, now, and I like it, but I'd like to do something else. Maybe focus more on the blogs. Maybe get more essays published in the Chronicle, see if I can't make it a regular thing -- at least until they get sick of me sending them things. I'm looking forward to teaching Honors next year, I think; I've never taught it before, and I'm hopeful that the students will be something of a change. And I, for one, am looking forward to the seven period day; I think it will be a vast improvement over the blocks, and I'm also looking forward to the time when people get used to it and realize it's either a good thing, or at least not as bad as they thought, and stop bitching about it.

I'm looking forward to not coming in early for department head meetings, but I'm not looking forward to coming in early for site council meetings (assuming I'm picked).

I am not looking forward to teaching some of the students that I had as freshmen. I am not looking forward to having a library with no librarian. I am not looking forward to losing my philosophy club. I'm not looking forward to paying bills, but then, who ever does?

What about all of you?

By the way: I see no reason to take this blog down at the end of the year. I will probably open it up to comments from anyone at all, but should any of you feel the need to post here once more, you should be able to.

I would also encourage all of you to keep your own blogs, if you don't already. Maybe it hasn't been the greatest assignment -- but there has never, never, been an easier way to express yourself and be heard. It's a wonderful thing, and it is something that more people should take part in. All you have to do is click the link that says "Create Blog," right next to the one that says "Sign In."

Blog away.

Stuck in my head

school is the only thing that is stuck in my head right now. all i think about is getting caught up and making sure my grades are passing.. that is the ONLY thing i have been thinking about the past two weeks and im going to go insane.

Global Warming

I think that global warming is a very real problem. animals and other things are starting to die off or having to migrate to different areas because the enviorment they were raised in is changing so much too fast. For example i was flipping through the channels and stopped on animal planet i think and there was a show on polar bears and how they are being pushed to live on land and starting to head south into canada because the ice caps are melting and they cant find any food on the ice. I think going green is something we all need to consider and take part in now.

stuck in my head

songs are the number 1 thing to be stuck in my head, sometimes its a good thing sometimes its not, like when i got a crappy song stuck in my head it drives me crazy. i think thats about it for stuff being stuck in my head, well that and thoughts of like something i was ganna tell someone and i forget but then i remember for a second and then forget again... well thats not really being stuck but i dont know.

"I'm just a little black rain cloud hovering under the honey tree..."

The perfect day would be one of heavy rain. I would sit by a windowside and drink coffee and cuddle with my pet sloth. After being inside and comfy, I would gather some energy and go outside to have a picnic with a sour friend. I would eat all the cheeseburgers I wanted. And CHOCOLATE!

what in the world would make a perfect day....

the sky is purple, the flowers are black, animals are able to speak, and the world has many colorful bugs. I will have a pet sloth named Moe and we watch disney channel everyday for at least an hour and also play WII. no one is alergic to animals so you can take your pet anywhere.
the grass is rambow color and the tress are either orange, blue, lime green or mixed. clothes dont matter you can wear or not wear whatever you want. no one is famous. people are all treated equal no matter how different you are. and candy doesnt make you fat :-)

immigrantion

well i only care bout immigration if people are coming in illegally, hows that fair for the other immigrants who go through all the proper legal ways of becoming a citizen in america. plus when there is no records on the person coming in illegally, they could get away with a lot of stuff if they arent caught right away.

V-day

its just a holiday for companies to make bank off of people. thats the first thing about v-day, but it is a day where couples can spend time and do stuff together, thats about it.

Perfect Day

A perfect day for me would be waking up on an early summer morning at about 7am and heading out with a bunch of friends to go riding somewhere.. then after a few hours when it has warmed up going out on the river on a boat and wakeboarding/skating till dark. then head home and have a fat bbq and chill out for the rest of the night. that is a perfect day for me.

perfect day

my perfect day would have to be just chilling with my friends listening to music just doing nothing. thats pretty much it for me i think, it doesnt take much to make it a perfect day, well it has to be sunny out too i just want to do nothing and chill be happy surrounded by my friends with good food and beautiful girls haha.

Perfect Day

My perfect day would consist of me and my boyfriend Kyle at the beach. Probably a beach in California, Hawaii or Australia. Just relaxing at a resort then later in the evening going shopping with Kip and enjoying the night life. Just spending time with friends and family. Being some where warm would be a huge part of it. I really dislike cold, wet weather.
I went horse back ridind along the beach last summer and had a blast so on my perfect day I would enjoy doing that again.

My perfect day........

My perfect day would probabally be sometime in the summer and it would start at my old house in molalla. first i would go out to breakfast at this cool retro bowling alley/arcade where a huge plate of eggs, hashbrowns and bacon is like only 2 dollarz. After that i would go hang out with my brothers at the wrecking yard my dad used to own and we would search old cars for cool stuff and junk.... then we would go out racing dirtbikes on this old trail behind the house that runs for miles and has cool jumps and stuff. At lunch time me and my brothers would probally go to molalla river and buy snack food from dollar tree for lunch ( jerky, cheeze wizz, crackers, ect.) then we would hang out on this huge mossy rock platform thing that is in the middle of the river and eat and go swimming. By the end of the day my dad would be off work and we would all play the first grand theft auto until dinner...........ummm ya ii guess that would be my perfect day.... as for my global wish thing i kinda wish that this whole economic crisis thing would magically fix itself.....

New Topic, Week of May 17-24

We're reading a book about the end of the world. In my other class, we're reading a book about the worst possible society. Up until this past week, it seems as though it's been winter for eight and a half years. People are getting laid off, students are failing my classes, I'm going to be out sick tomorrow and I fear how you punks will treat my substitute . . .

Enough already. Let's talk about something happy.

I want you to describe your perfect day. I want as much detail as possible. I want colors, sights and sounds. I want to know where you would go, what you would do, who you would spend time with. I want to know what you would eat, for all three meals. And I'd like one global fantasy, one thing you would do that would change the world, something that would make you happier just knowing it was true -- maybe you want all people to live under a free democracy, or maybe you want to rivers to run Yoo-Hoo instead of water, or maybe you want animals to be able to speak. Whatever it is -- pick one big thing to change about the world, and describe your perfect day.

Due by Saturday. Be nice to the sub. And read books.

Stuck in my head

Well alot of things get stuck in everyone's mind after watching something or hearing a really funny joke but there are some things that stay there for a long time.

1. the funny swine flu jokes. i heard this one on the radio in the morning and all through the day id hear some one say something about pigs or what not and just laugh as i remembered it.

2. Zombie attacks. sometimes i would day dream about were i was at if there were just a bunch of zombies and all i could do was survive. i believe these daydreams were spawned after playing endless zombie games and watching to many zombie horror flicks.

3. funny songs like the benny hill theme song and the teenage mutant ninja turtle theme song and other random theme songs would sometimes just pop in my head once in a while.

4. Last i think alot about the future and what the "end" of the world will be like. i wonder if it will truly be like that bibles revelation version or if we just ram into the sun and perish in a huge ball of flame.

immigration

Well everyone should get over it now because its never gonna stop. And not just mexico, but also canada, england, and all those different countries. The USA does not have the man power or the money to tightly control all our borders. Thats just how it is and it will be like that most likely for many years to come. Also its not there fault they want a better life and to get one they have to wait several years to be processed and then be able to get a job. Its human nature to want bigger and better things in life. I wouldnt want to wait seven years of my life to get a minimum wage job that seven years could be spent on education and training for them. that is all thank you for reading

Immigration

I think that with the way the economy in the united states is the last thing that we need is little aliens running and swimming or however they got here. its hard enough for us legally born citizens to get jobs as an example.. and then to try and compete with someone who will work for 25 cents an hour. good luck. if your legal and earned your way in to the us then good job, if not. leave.

Immigration

I believe immigration is one the biggest issues that we face today in america. I understand why people want to come to america. It's one of the greatest countries to come to. You have freedom to do what you want, free speech, etc. But it's just messed up that our ancestors came here to escape from England or wherever, and they tried to raise a family and did all the work needed to become a citizen of the "New World" and today all you have to do is swim across a river. I think the Obama administration needs to dramatically adress this issue and make sure this does not happen in the future. One of the consequences of being an american is paying taxes. Im fine with paying taxes if I know I have freedom of speech, and I have all my rights that I should get.

Illeagles Oh Know

When it comes to illegal immigration i do think something needs to be done. I mean if people are just coming into our country and we don't know who they are they could be a criminal and we wouldn't even no that they were hear. Not all illegals are criminals i no, they are the people that are trying to get out of an impoverished country and make a better life for themselves. These are the people we need to help the most. We need to make it easier for the good people to come into our country.

As for the people that are already hear we should let the people who have never done anything wrong hear stay. But anyone who is part of a gang or have done any other criminal act and take them out of this country. I think that we have enough criminals that are citizens already so we really don't need to add any more.

We also should start trying to build up other countries around us. Starting with Mexico. I know I know our economy is down and we don't really have the money but what if all those sweat shops that we have in other countries what would happen if we upgraded them and made them like our factories. Well I'll tell you. We would have another country that we can trade equally with which would help our economy and it would probably make it to ware many of our illegal immigrants would stop coming. Also if we started taxing all companies huge amounts of money for every illegal immigrant that they have.

One good thing about illegal is that they keep prices of somethings down. like strawberries, if i were to go pick strawberries i would want minimum wadge but an illegal would maybe want like fifty cents. This keeps the price of straw berries down and don't tell me illegal are doing jobs we wouldn't do because if a job pays well enough we would do it.
